THE THRESHING BARN
 

Completed in 2023, this self-build project transformed a late 18th-century cob and stone threshing barn in rural Devon into a light-filled family home. The conversion carefully balanced old and new — restoring original features such as exposed beams and stonework while introducing modern design elements and open layouts. The result is a spacious, welcoming home that celebrates the barn’s heritage while providing comfort for modern family life.​
